In 2020, the W̱SÁNEĆ Leadership Council (a unified, legal governing body comprised of three W̱SÁNEĆ First Nations: Tsartlip, Tseycum, and Tsawout) and Sangan Resource Management joined together as a group of Indigenous entities to create K’ENES Transportation LLP, for the purpose of working with the Capital Regional District (CRD) to transport biosolids from the Hartland Landfill Facility to Richmond, BC for incineration.

Since then, K’ENES has expanded our fleet to extend transportation services to the construction and excavation industry, offering a competitive alternative to the local market.
